Talk and Presentation

The South East Animal Rights Group (SEAR) has invited us to talk at one of their monthly meetings in Croydon.  I will be talking about the Moon Bear Rescue and Friends or... Food? campaigns and will have the latest updates from China and Vietnam. We will also show the DVD "Moon Bear Rescue - A Decade On"

This will be a great opportunity to talk to other like minded people who may not know very much about Animals Asia and raise more awareness.

The SEAR website is still under construction but you can find them on Facebook

How do I get there from North London?

Here is a good site for journey planning, it should be easy to work out using the postcode of where you are coming from and your destination, nearest train station looks like it would be South Croydon, East Croydon also not far away.

Hey Maren, sorry I don't think I'll be able to realistically make it on time. If I can't make it for this talk, I'll go for next month's talk.
I'm also coming from North London, High Barnet.

Hi Michael, no worries. There will be another talk but the organisers aren't sure yet if there will be room for talks and presentations at the bazaar but hopefully there will be. We will have a meeting next week as well. I'll post details tomorrow as it's a bit late now, but hopefully you can make that. It's in Soho so should be much easier to get to.

I'm really sorry, I said I would attend the meetup and fell asleep and it was too late by the time I woke up.

    Hope the meeting went well.

It was really good! Shame though about the lower than usual attendance at the SEAR meeting - I blame the weather!

    Hi Steve,

Yes it went really well. As Lesley said the turnout wasn't as good as expected, it was very cold, but I will be doing another one there at some point. I think SEAR has guest speakers booked for the next few months, so maybe towards the end of the year. If you're free next Thursday and want to see what the group is about, please feel free to join us at The Crown and Two Chairmen
