Mark-Anthony Turnage At Sixes & Sevens (World première)*
*commissioned by The Honourable The Irish Society and the City of London
To mark the 400th anniversary of the unique relationship between Derry~Londonderry and the City of London, Northern Irish poet Paul Muldoon and composer Mark-Anthony Turnage have created a work interspersed with music devised by communities from both cities. The world première will be performed simultaneously in the two Guildhalls of London and Derry~Londonderry with Camerata Ireland and conductor Barry Douglas.
