FREE ENTRY - Normally £15. Come and visit St Paul's Cathedral on Saturday Afternoon when its totally free to get in! It's an opportunity not to be missed!!
St Paul's, with its world-famous dome, is an iconic feature of the London skyline. Step inside and you can enjoy the cathedral's awe-inspiring interior, and uncover fascinating stories about its history. Immerse yourself in the vast atmospheric space of the Cathedral Floor and reflect on times past.
The cathedral was designed by Sir Christopher Wren after the previous St Paul's was destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666. The current cathedral opened 300 years ago this year in 1711 and is generally reckoned to be London's fifth St Paul's Cathedral, all having been built on the same site since AD 604. The cathedral is one of London's most famous and most recognisable sights.
The main Cathedral Floor and part of the Crypt (also containing the restaurant) are open this afternoon. There is also a short musical performance of 'Dick Whittington' taking place in the Cathedral under the dome at 3pm.
AFTERPARTY: After you have completed your self guided tour of St. Pauls, join the group at the Thai Silk from 5pm onwards (see next event and click here to RSVP) for more socialising with £2.50 happy hour drinks, a short trip out to see the Lord Mayor's Fireworks, some Thai food, and generally a night to remember!!
