See exhibition of International Art at the Royal College of Arts (always amazing)

Gather afterwards at the newly pedestrianised area near South Ken tube for some food/drinks, outdoor sketching - there is a whole street of continental style small cafes and restaurants with outdoor seating and no traffic.

  • Entrance to the exhibition is usually £8 but I will be posting a two for one offer so we can go in in pairs for £4 each. There is also a £1 meet up charge payable on the day.

The 20/21 INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR will take place at the Royal College of Art, in Kensington Gore, London SW7, from 9 - 12 May 2013. It will be opened by A.A. Gill at 12 noon on the 9th.

On show at this 'boutique fair' will be modern and contemporary art from the UK and around the world. There are also a number of dealers who specialise in work from Japan, Russia, Poland, France, Morocco, Serbia and the Ukraine as well as art from a host of other countries making a truly eclectic selection.

International names include Braque, Chagall, Matisse, Miro, Picasso (all works on paper), plus British favourites such as Peter Blake, Damien Hirst, David Hockney, Henry Moore and Grayson Perry, together with many emerging and less well known artists whose work will be there to be discovered and enjoyed. An added attraction is a display from the Royal College of Art Printmaking Department.

'Colourful, exotic and eccentric' is how the fair was described on Bloomberg TV.

    Geri Morgan

The 60 dealers, most of whom are based in the UK, will offer works in various media including oils, original prints, watercolours, drawings plus some photography, sculpture and ceramics – ranging from 1900 to the present day. The price range is from a few hundred upwards.

The UK and London in particular is now more cosmopolitan than ever. This diversity is reflected in today's art scene in general, and in the 20|21 International Art Fair, in particular.

Directions - its is next to Royal Albert Hall

Gloucester Road Underground (6 minute walk to the South West)
South Kensington Underground (6 minute walk to the South East) High Street Kensington Underground (7 minute walk to the South West)

PS. Not sure if this is the right place to advertise my class Julia? Thanks!
