John, did you get a confirmation of reservation from the organisers? I was thinking of going along later in the week but have heard nothing. Thx, Cheryl

    Hello,
I got confirmation e-mail for Friday 6 December, Printmaking.
Is any body go on Friday?

    December 2, 2013

  • Becky

Received this morning. 'A technical problem with email forwarding has meant that a number of emails
were never seen. Unfortunately the workshops are now fully booked except for Julie Jackson 5 Dec and Melvyn Petterson 6 Dec.' It also says the portrait class this morning is very large (and that's without the 40 or so on here who might turn up in hope!)

  • Giuseppe M.

So. Are we still prepared to go this morning to the Mall Galleries?

    December 2, 2013

    • Becky

      No, it's very full.

I had circulated this info to my life class, and a member has just let me know that she spent most of last week chasing it up. She's now received a reply '...A fault in our automatic forwarding systems has led to a number of early email applications for places at these workshops remaining unseen or misdirected,' and saying that it's full. So looks as though there's no point in going along if you've not heard that you have a place. What a bugger!

Thank you for the information, although it's very disappointing :(

I also sent an email again, hoping I would get into the workshops.
Very sad because I sent an email early and I really want to attent a workshop every day! I cleared my schedule for this and really hope to get booked.

At this rate I would be grateful to get into any of these workshops.
Wouldn't mind if I had to sit on the floor either if I just get the opportunity to learn something new!

I've emailed again, but won't be preparing to go tomorrow unless I receive a positive reply in good time. Not holding my breath, and so annoyed at probably having cleared next week for nothing. And where's Julia?

    December 1, 2013

  • Becky

How annoying!!! So none of us know whether our early emails were lost, or whether we're booked in or not! And on a Sunday they are not likely to reply in time anyway!

I resent to the drawing school for confirmation and got a reply this time to say the early emails were lost and it is now full. Hope you all have a great time!

    December 1, 2013

  • Giuseppe M.

I just resent an email to Free Portrait Drawing Workshop at the Mall Galleries and see if they will confirm.

Have emailed the drawing school for the workshops in December but havent heard back ? Can anyone confirm the email address as it may be wrong?

    November 29, 2013

  • Becky

So do we all turn up, and hope for the best? I've re-arranged an appt with a 7-month waiting list to do this!

    November 28, 2013

  • Giuseppe M.

I haven't heard from them either :( and that was a while back since I sent an email to them. Strange really

    November 28, 2013

  • Rade

I've got a reply from them straight away telling me this day's full up already and I've been put on a waiting list.
