This group is primarily intended for people who would like to get together and enjoy arts & cultural events in and around London. Examples of such events might include gallaries, exhibitions, concerts / live music, cinema, theatre, socials, etc.

Any member of the group is welcome to invite others in attending a particular event (via the 'suggest a meetup' section of the site). If there is sufficient interest in a suggested event, a 'meetup' around it  may be announced to the rest of the group (upon request).

Also, any member is welcome to host a (one-off) 'meetup' for a particular event, and, if prepared to do so on a regular basis, encouraged to become an 'official' event organizer* for the group. Of course, the success of any Meetup group is largely dependent on the level of enthusiasm and active participation of its members.
