This group is for people who would like to get together and enjoy arts, cultural and fun events in London and the south east. Examples of such events might include gallaries, exhibitions, concerts / live music, dance, theatre, social, spiritual and holistic events.

Any member of the group is welcome to invite others in attending a particular event (via the 'suggest a meetup' section of the site). If there is sufficient interest in a suggested event, a 'meetup' around it  may be announced to the rest of the group (upon request).

Also, any member is welcome to host a (one-off) 'meetup' for a particular event, and, if prepared to do so on a regular basis, encouraged to become an 'official' event organizer* for the group.

Of course, the success of any Meetup group is largely dependent on the level of enthusiasm and active participation of its members.
