"Join Compassion in World Farming on August 10th as we take to the streets of London in a peaceful protest to say “NO to live exports”.

Where: Covent Garden Market, London, WC2E 8RB (on the corner of Henrietta street and Southampton street)

When: 11:30am, Saturday 10th August

We know this trade causes huge amounts of animal suffering. Last year over 47,000 young sheep and calves were sent on long journeys from as far afield as Wales and Lincolnshire across the channel to France, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium.

We’ve been calling for an end to live export for many years now but the UK government has consistently resisted outlawing this trade. It’s time for us to come together and speak out on behalf of animals.

Join us!
We need all the support we can get to draw attention to this issue so please sign up to come along!

We will provide placards, banners, and lamb and calf masks for the day. We simply ask that you please come dressed in black and/or white so that we can all match our masks!

Don’t forget to tell your friends and family about this event and encourage them to join us on the day too!

    11.30pm seems a tad late! ;-))

But good luck with the 11.30am march against live exports.

I am busy but good luck with the cause. Maybe better transport standards and inspection with on the spot fines and vehicle siezure would be more effective.
