COMPULSORY Q (no membership if not answered): Pls describe yr position on religion/faith e.g. atheist, naturalist, 'agnostic', religious doubter, religious, OR any description that best describes you. (Not to label you, just to know group make-up)

COMPULSORY Q: Why do you want to join? (if faith/religion bothers you, what aspects in particular? (Helps us tailor activities to your concerns (within our remit of "peacefully promote reason/atheism")). Pls write as much or as little as you like.

Where do I start? I shall limit it to two things for now. Firstly, when human fallibility is given divine status then it is passed on from generation to generation and tends to grow. Secondly, when people believe they have a god on their side, they are prone to forcing themselves (and their bigotry) onto others. Aaaah!

Where did you hear about us?

(You're welcome as a social or even a silent member, & there's absolutely no pressure - but would you want to be involved (at some stage) in actively challenging faith in any way? Petitions, leafleting etc, or something else?

Let me at 'em. Let me at 'em;) I have lots of cameras etc for filming these events.

If so, what kind of issues are most emotive for you? What kind of activism do you prefer - humourous/cheeky or more direct? Any other ideas you'd like to share at the moment?

Both open debates and satirical events. For example, I enjoy walking around Trafalgar Square wearing my 'The Pope Protects Peadophile Priests' T-shirt and banner when the Christians have their 'Passion' performance every Easter. I have no idea why, but they really don't like that;)

Introduction

I've been a radical atheist for many years and enjoy arguing... I mean... debating with religious people whenever I can. But I equally enjoy chatting with open minded atheists and free thinkers.... that's OPEN MINDED atheists!!
