Its hypocrisy and its interference in politics. // If others want to believe such mumbo jumbo, I'm not going to stop them, but do not bother me with it please, don't ask me to fund church schools through my taxes, stop crusty old bishops meddling with the laws of my country - I did not elect them, and stop brainwashing the innocent in morning assemblies everywhere. Religious organisations could end world poverty by 1. liberating poor women from the endless cycle of childbirth and domestic slavery, this more than anything has repeatedly been shown as the key to ending poverty. 2. Sharing their considerable wealth and, the catholics most especially, returning stolen art and relics. // Virgin births, walking on water, 4-armed Vishnu, reincarnation as a caterpillar, where does this madness end? Father christmas and the tooth fairy seem equally feasible to me.

The Vatican: "Condoms are the moral equivalent of abortions" - speaks for itself really. Let's hang out their filthy, stinking underwear for the world to see: the catholic support for the genocide in Rwanda, the protection the church offered to its paedophile priests, islamic support for terrorists, etc.. I also think humour is effective, let's face it, if someone chooses to believe they could come back as a goat, it's not hard to ridicule.
It amazes me that seemingly intelligent people still swallow such superstitious nonsense and do so today in the 21st century when it's been shown to be untrue.
