My main concern is that it goes against common sense and rationalism. I consider myself a very rational person (sometimes to the point where it becomes annoying) and I feel that Western societies are not progressing the way they should be because of the lack of common sense and the effort put into religion.
Definitely. I have been involved in politics and activism since 2009 (not just regarding atheism but other topics as well).
I think that anything that goes towards religious education on a high level (supported by state / regional body) should be put under pressure. It can be through protest or just organizing educational events, etc.
I have been actively involved in one of the Atheist groups in Hungary, so I want to pursue this interest in the UK. I came to the UK in May 2012 living in Hungary before that. I work as a technical author for a software company in West London.
