The movie tonight is Jo Nesbo's Headhunters mostly in Norwegian, always with English subtitles.
Please google it, it is rated 15, "contains strong sex, violence and strong gory images". It is a change of pace from last month's movie. Next month ScandiCineNight will honour Roy Andersson, as you might know this director received a little known prize for his latest in Venice just a couple of weeks ago. ;-)
After the movie we'll head down Upper Street for Banoffee at one of the local hotspots.
I was unforgivably inactive, but I am now turning a new leaf.
Please join for Banoffee and a Scandi movie.
Join if you feel like having your cake and eat it in front of a foreign language movie.
Scandi film screening (movies might be in any of the or a mix of Scandinavian languages) post Banoffee.
Everybody is welcome, but it is a screening, so conversation after the beginning of the movie is not an option. Those who prefer to just have a good Scandi chat, are invited to find a spot in a separate part of the pub.
The film screening starts at 7:30pm.
Please note that this is a free screening event, starting at 7pm and ending when the movie is over. You are welcome to arrive as late as you feel like, if you don't mind missing the film introduction and some of the film. You can also leave when you want. Please be considerate and, in case of lateness or necessity to leave before the end of the movie, try not to bother the other meet-uppers. Thanks ;-)
See you soon!
