This is an informal meet-up group for anyone who owns - or plans to buy - a boat in London. Whether yours is a small RIB, a sailing yacht or a 72' Sunseeker, this could be a great group for you.

We aim to meet once a month - probably in a reserved space in the corner of a pub - and discuss all things sailing / boating over a pint or two. Think of it as a small informal yacht club but with no rules & regulations.

We’ll meet on the first Tuesday of every month in different locations, though probably in or around London’s marinas – St Katharine’s Dock, Limehouse Marina, Chelsea Harbour and South Dock, amongst others. We’ll probably have a quarterly get-together in the Boatshed London HQ, which is on the Thames aboard HMS President (and I’m sure we can persuade our friendly skipper to do some guided tours of this fine historic vessel).

We’ll discuss anything and everything relating to boating – from marina charges to that first Channel crossing. No rules, no fees, no agendas, no dress code. Just a few drinks in lively company with a common purpose – to chew the fat with other boatie people.

The group is open to all sailing yacht and motorboat owners in London – and those who are considering buying a boat.
