Expat Canadian Meetup Monthly Monday night wings Madness!!! November

Every Monday The Maple Leaf puts on a great deal for wings! For about 6 quid you get 20 wings cooked to your liking! Accompany your meal with a beverage of your choice for a few quid and it is an inexpensive night out to catch up with fellow expats sharing in some tastes from home! I have book room for 30+... We may need more!  This event is really popular! The booking is from 6-8pm and I am sure there will be some interested to stay on further and socialize! Hope you can make it out for a great evening!

You never know who might drop into Expat Wings.... Like Peter Mansbridge!

Hope you can make it!

Good to catch up with some fellow Canadians. A pretty decent turn out.

We may not always have such a crowd, but it's never a bad night.

Could it be the chilly evenings or the fact that they're darker? Whatever happened, more people wanted to be inside and this Wings Night was really well attended. Lots of great new people.

I hope that you met plenty. It felt as though twice the expected number showed up. VERY well attended.

Sorry, because of work commitments I will not be at this meeting. I'm looking forward to meeting all Canadian Expats at the next meeting. Does anybody get home sick like me or is it just me? I'm from Toronto (or should it be Toronaa) and have been here for the last 3 years.

You'd be strange if you weren't home sick.
The more time I spend in the UK, as much as I like it, the more Canadian I feel.

I've been out of country 7 years and I'm just starting to feel homesick

As long as people adjust RSVPs, so we know who is / is not coming, it's no problem.
Of course it would be better to see you but, as has been the case with me recently, there's always next time.

I'm going for the Maple Leaf burger again. Weird but tasty.

It's good to see more regulars RSVP-ing, rather than just turning up.
It really helps us keep track of numbers :)
