I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of the two Canadian Services of Remembrance being in held in the London area over the next few days:
>>The High Commissioner for Canada, Gordon Campbell invites you to a Service of Remembrance at the Canada Memorial, Green Park, London on Sunday, November 11, at 13:45.
Note: The Canada Memorial is located just inside Canada Gate, off The Mall or Constitution Hill. Closest tube: Green Park.
Members of the public are also welcome to attend the Annual Canadian Veterans' Service of Remembrance at the Canada Sector, Brookwood Military Cemetery, Brookwood, Surrey GU24 0JB on Friday, November 9, at 10:30.
There are also a few Royal Canadian Legion Poppies left at The Maple Leaf, The Albion and The Canada Shop. You should be able to pick them up at The Canadian High Commission MacDonald House and Canada House until closing Friday evening. If you are attending the ceremony on Sunday, Veterans Affairs will have them available as well.
