Film Description ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This warm-hearted Bollywood romance centres on a relationship between two polar opposites. Travel writer Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) is in his twenties and wants to live a life free of all responsibility. He desperately wants to avoid the predictable cycle of an education, a career, marriage, retirement and then death. But then he meets the bookish and studious Naina Talwar (Deepika Padukone) - one of his former classmates at Modern School. He invites her to spend time with him in Kashmir - and eventually a tender relationship develops. This charming film charts their romance as they mature from the age of 21 into their 30s. Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone make a highly appealing central couple in this uplifting story about the unpredictable, often crazy course of life.

London Cinema Meetup hosts a lot of events at Cineworld cinemas (usually for seeing the latest releases, most commonly in the West End). If you like watching films regularly (more than once a month) it might be cheaper to buy a Cineworld Unlimited card for £17.99 a month - this allows you to watch as many films as you like at Cineworld cinemas (including the ones we normally use in the West End, in Shaftesbury Avenue or in Haymarket). It also gives you a 10% discount off food and drink bought in the cinemas, and some local discount offers too. There is a cheaper version of the card for £14.99, but this is not valid for the Cineworld cinemas in the West End. Currently there is an offer of getting 'one free month' if you sign up using the promotion code below:

We go to see a wide variety of films, including both the new releases and classic films. There are events on weekdays evenings and also at weekends. We use various cinemas, usually in central London.
Please contact Mark / Rakhee if you are interested in organising film events for this group.
