Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, The Birds remains one of Hitchcock’s most thrilling films, full of suspense. Based on a Daphne Du Maurier shorts story where a wealthy young socialite pursues a potential boyfriend to a small town where bizarre things start to happen.
This is part of a series of free outdoor film screenings at More London (next to City Hall) throughout September. For details click here. Seats are on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved. You can bring your own picnic - but no glass is allowed. Remember to bring warm clothes as it will get chilly. :-)
The film starts at 19:30 - we will meet early in order to get good seats. Afterwards, we will grab a drink in a pub nearby.
How to meet up
We will meet at 6:30 next to the entrance to City Hall and then go in together as a group at 6:45. I will carry a Meetup sign. If you arrive late, you can join us at the same spot after the film. If you're lost, contact me at 075-98940303.
