I wrote a mini blog post for Haskell Day 1. Written from the point of view of a Ruby developer trying to reason Haskell into his world:

I liked the idea of providing a minimum setup, HUnit gist, so we could jump straight away to solve the exercises.

Sorry, don't think i'll be able to make it today. Something important came up at work in the last minute.

Sorry as well. There's no way I will be out of the office much before 7pm tonight and the commute from Kingston means that I can't make it. Very disappointed as I am enjoying the Haskell chapter.

Sorry I was planning to come along this evening as have been to a few Haskell dojos before but today has been very meeting heavy and not feeling like I have enough energy to come along this time. Will keep working thru the book and hope to come to next session.

Sorry, I would love to have come but got the notification too late. Will plough on with the Haskell chapter.

    Hello guys,

I am up to learn more about Ruby because "She’s sometimes quirky, always beautiful, a little mysterious, and absolutely magical." :-) Also, I am looking for a Tech co-founder.

I am currently doing customer discovery and feedback is good so far. I have a mentor as well. If you want to join the startup world drop me a line.

Darn it, this conflicts with another meetup that is more relevant to my current work I'm afraid so I'm going to have to back out. Sorry!

I'm currently on day 2 of the Haskell section. How much are we expected to have worked through in order to take part?

    February 13, 2014

    • @sleepyfox

Hi @sleepyfox , how far though the book are you - I've been waiting for this series to startup again. Haven't bought the book yet though!

Hi Matt, I'm actually at the Scala chapter, but decided to do the Haskell chapter first as I'm working my way through "Learn you a Haskell for great good"at the moment.
