The Filth

The story of Greg Feely, a bachelor whose main interests are his cat and pornography. Feely is actually a member of a shadowy organization called The Hand and their attempts to keep society on the path to the 'Status Q'.

From the twisted imaginations of Grant Morrison (New X-Men) and Chris Weston (The Invisibles) comes sci-fi weirdness of the deepest level. Officer Edward Slade has retired in the guise of sad pervert Greg Feely. However, he is suddenly pressed back into service with ethereal police force The Filth, when a rogue officer threatens Earth with contamination by a nanobiotic life form. As he's suffering from amnesia, this is all a bit of a shock to Greg, especially when his back-up is a talking Communist sniper chimp. This fabulous new collection encapsulates the superb talents of two amazing creators into one of the most original graphic novels in many a moon!

We'll also be having a bit of general discussion about the months comic releases so feel free to bring along any comic books along with you.

We will be meeting in the upstairs at The Crown at 7.30 if you can't find us feel free to give me a call on[masked]

Good Meetup guys. Shame I'm not a Morrison fan. I'll try harder next time ;)

I can't make it tonight, as it's still too cold at night for me, and I'm feeling a bit "under the weather".

Damnit just not able to read this in time. A damn shame as the first couple of issues were awesome. Have a good one!

A very disturbing read, luckily I had a graphic biography of J Edgar Hoover available to read immediately after to ensure there would be no lasting damage! Looking forward to the general discussion bit.

New member here, but unfortunately won't be able to make the 27th. I look forward to the next meetup though, and meeting some fellow comic book fans

Sadly, the last Wednesday of the month clashes with another regular thing I go to... #sadness!
