This message is intended for attendees from the London Country, Blues and Folk Gigs event (http://www.meetup.com/London-Country-Blues-Folk-Gigs/events/98647412/)
and The World Music group event (http://www.meetup.com/WorldMusicMeetup/events/98650722/).
Guess what! Several options are available to you! ;-)
- Option A: 6.30pm at The Clachan pub at 34 Kingly Street
Meet Stephen (http://www.meetup.com/London-Country-Blues-Folk-Gigs/members/48325942/) who'll be wearing a bright red shirt.
- Option B: 7pm outside the event's venue Ain't Nothin But... at 20 Kingly Street, W1B 5PZ
Meet Ray (http://www.meetup.com/WorldMusicMeetup/members/9554896/), Thomas (http://www.meetup.com/WorldMusicMeetup/members/73182822/) and Josephine (http://www.meetup.com/WorldMusicMeetup/members/29510262/)
- Option C: 7.30pm outside the event's venue Ain't Nothin But... at 20 Kingly Street, W1B 5PZ
Meet your hostess, Florence ;-), (http://www.meetup.com/WorldMusicMeetup/members/31113692/).
LOOK FOR THE "COUNTRY, BLUES, FOLK & WORLD" SIGN that I'll be holding! ;-)
- Option D: meet inside. THE MEETING INSIDE IS AS CLOSE TO THE TABLES (in front of the stage) AS POSSIBLE. TO THE RIGHT HANDSIDE WHEN YOU'RE FACING THE STAGE.
I'm sending attendees my mobile number in case you have an emergency, but please note that with 30+ attendees, I will not be able to text people or call them back.
I will only take calls if they get through.
Well, this concludes the organising for what will hopefully be a memorable night! ;-)
Cheers and see you tomorrow!
The venue is wonderful and the band sounds just as wonderful.
"Jerimiah Marques & The Blue Aces are truly unique. The emphasis is on Chicago Blues, which transports the listener to the blues heyday of the 1950s and the magic sounds of Howling Wolf and Muddy Waters. The band will then switch to a Roots Reggae groove. The key to this great combination is the charismatic Jerimiah Marques, a vocal master of both musical styles and a performer with electrifying talent."
Here's their website:
Entrance is free before 8.30pm.
Let's meet at 7.30pm as the queue is usually really long.
