Lorentz gave a really good informative introduction to aperture, and its importance in depth of field control. Highly recommended.

I feel there was not enough discussion about the use of Aperture and how one can manipulate it to produce a photo worth show off to friends and family. It was more about selling courses, which in my opinion was not geared at the right market. This is just my view.

Lorentz gave an engaging introduction to a core subject for any aspiring photographer. Illustrated with excellent examples of the effects achievable through choice of F-Stop, particularly in depth of field control. More advanced practitioners had the opportunity to ask more specific questions and of course the informal atmosphere meant that everyone had the chance to mingle and swap notes, views, ideas and experiences with fellow enthusiasts. A pleasant time was had by all I hope.
