Let's get together again and meetup to hack on Emacs.

I suggest we schedule a few more quick talks.

Anyone want to volunteer?

I'd love to give a session on EmacsLisp programming. But I may not be able to attend due to travel commitments.

I enjoyed it and had two people buy me a drink afterwards, which I'm taking as a sign of approval :)

Oh, fyi: it appears the registration is closed not because the event is full, but because it was set to close last night. If you want to come along, it looks like we still have lots of room, as long as @dotemacs is still able to put you on the venue guest list in time.

Hello all, last time it was agreed that I'd give a talk on writing a mode for Emacs. Bodil did a great job at the last meetup so I'm going to go into more details. Seeing how there's a lot of new names, I hope that the others will find it useful.

Just like the last time, since the crowd isn't going to be big, feel free to interrupt and ask questions, as the idea is to share the knowledge. Having said that, it would be good if somebody else wanted to talk about another topic also. It can be just: "I had this need, but not sure how to...?".

Another thing might be: "This is my Emacs config and I do it like this because ..." Feel free to suggest what topics you'd like to see covered, without the pressure that you'd be asked to present, if you don't feel comfortable doing it.

Oh, and do feel free to bring along non Emacs users. It would be good to introduce them to Emacs.

    Thanks

There must be some other eshell users amongst you all, so don't be shy please speak up :)
