HITCHCOCK: Psycho behind the scenes

Dear All,

The South is calling! We have fallen under the spell of Hopkins/Hitchcock and wish to spice up a mid-week night with a mix of love and murder. Come and join us at the PictureHouse in Clapham to enjoy some truly British humour, here's a taste of it with the trailer:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBjz2i71Wj0

An interesting glimpse into the cinema industry and not just from the technical point of view of film making.

The movie is scheduled for 6.20 so we can get there straight after work. I shall be there from 6pm, feeling ill-at-ease on my own: come and rescue me, please!

After the film, you're free to run home or stay for a drink in one of the many establishments nearby. Together with us, hopefully.

A good film with some very amusing moments, and good chat over a wine at the pub after, or was it more than one glass?! Thanks Tiziana for organising a fun night. Nice to go out locally in south London too.

Enjoyable film, good performances from Hopkins, Mirren & Scarlet Johanson. great discussion afterwards in the pub with Liam and Tizi where we drank to Maya's health.

That has always been my master plan, to live a long and happy life from people toasting to my health (rather than buying me drinks). Thank you !

Light touch, understated, perfectly in line with the character portrayed. Both Hopkins and Helen Mirren are great are conveying what ties two individuals together after 30years as a couple: the frustration and disappointments that lie beneath the surface, the insecurity and doubts (his as a director, hers as a woman), the need for each other.

Good to see a hosted event in my neighbourhood...have been to Clapham Picture House on many occasions...it's buzzing!

Regrettably, I can't make this event but I'm looking forward to more events at this venue. Thanks Tiziana...next time definitely!
