Welcome to the Capital Punishment Café! Our chef’s specials today include electrocution, hanging and lethal injection. And save some room for dessert, because we’ve got firing squad and stoning. Can I take your order?
Banned from performing in their home country, Belarus Free Theatre serve up food, music, dance and Shakespeare as they share true stories from inmates, executioners, human rights lawyers and families of the executed.
This provocative and urgent show pierces the imagination with moments of the darkest humour as it challenges capital punishment in our contemporary world, where 95 countries still carry out the death penalty.
Warning: Trash Cuisine is performed in English and contains full male and female nudity and scenes of a distressing nature.
The performance starts at 7:45pm and tickets are £19.50. Seating is unreserved so we can meet before and choose our seats as a group.
Booking by phone recommended on [masked]. For information and online booking visit http://www.youngvic.org/whats-on/trash-cuisine
For those who want to meet up before the performance for a drink or food, I will be in the foyer to pick up my ticket at 6.30pm. I will send my mobile to those who RSVP.
Tickets may sell out fast—please don't RSVP until you have bought your ticket!
Kindly note: London European Club is run by dedicated volunteers. Changing your RSVP in the last 24 hours before the event is strongly discouraged. If you don't show up to three events that you have RSVP'd Yes to, you will be banned from the Club.
