Folks, we are living in one of the most international cities in Europe - with the unique opportunity to discover countless different cultures and compare them with our own.
You needn't be an expert on Hofstede or Trompenars or however those cross-cultural experts are called. Just share your observations and experiences about what you think you are doing different than other nations. Is it a different communication style, a different attitude towards the environment or whatever? What do you think distinguishes one European nation from the other? What prejudices do you face and which ones do you find confirmed, what do you like about other cultures? Are there perhaps also any special language issues you observe?
If you are interested in this topic and curious about other cultures, come along on Wednesday, 11 September at 6pm to the Bree Louise for a European Cross-Cultural Chit- Chat over a pint or two. I'm looking forward to seeing you there.
