Music from the Caucasus: Mountains of Tongues

Marion has come across this event which looks pretty special. Join me for a night of music from the Caucasus in café Oto in Dalston.


Launch event for L.M. Duplication release 'Mountains of Tongues: Musical Dialects of the Caucasus' with a special Caucasus inspired set by The Family Elan, rare performance by London based Georgian polyphonic choir Maspindzeli along with screening of footage from The Sayat Nova Projects video archives.

The venue is Café Oto, very close to Dalston Kingsland and Dalston Junction overground stations.


London European Club is run by dedicated volunteers, who don't have time to waste with people who don't show up at events. If you don't show up to three events that you have RSVPed to, you will be banned from the Club. Changing your RSVP in the last 24 hours prior to the event is strongly discouraged.

    Marion should be awarded an honour for that! The music from the Caucasus is fantastic. There is a georgian choir in London simply called Maspindzeli. Here is one song three of their ladies performed which is just beautiful
