The first event in an exciting new series of spotlights on the culturally-rich Balkans celebrates the traditions of Serbian literature and its contemporary voices.
Enjoy readings from award-winning writers Vesna Goldsworthy (Chernobyl Strawberries, Inventing Ruritania) and Jelena Lengold (Fairground Magician, winner of the EU Prize for Literature 2011),
interspersed with music from the region by expert musician Kim Burton and followed by a lively literary discussion with the authors and Susan Curtis-Kojakovic, Founding Director of Istros Books.
Drinks are served from 5:30pm! we can all meet near the reception.
