LEC Games Evening #4 with Optional Pre-Swim

Following the end of the main Summer holiday season, our games evenings returns to Hackney, ideal for those of us living in Central, North, or East London!
An invite to dispell the Monday blues with an evening of games and socialising!
Start from 18:00 with an optional swim in London Fields Lido, a recently restored 1932 heated outdoor 50m long pool. Admission is £4.50. I will be found frolicking in the sociable extra slow lane, or relaxing after a hard day's work in one of the outdoor showers! If you would like to meet in the pool, it will be best to contact me beforehand.
From 19:00 (until around 22:00), meet in the pub on the edge of London Fields park in the downstairs "bear's-den" room. The lido and pub are both almost adjacent to London Fields rail station and a 10 minute stroll from both Hackney Downs and Hackney Central rail stations.
The pub has it's own table tennis table and the organisers will bring playing equipment and such fun games such as Draughts, Connect 4, Jenga and Pictionary. If the weather is suitable, I will also bring some outdoor park games along, such as softball and frisbee. Who knows, our club's official favourite game, Consequences, may also be played? Feel free to bring a game yourself - charity shops are a good place to pick them up at a bargain price.
If all this action works up your appetite, food is available at the pub.
