I would like to invite you to Enchanted Woodland at Syon Park - a magical walk through the Syon Park Gardens:
Following the success of 2011 Syon Park is again illuminating the gardens and Great Conservatory for the 7th Annual Enchanted Woodland.
It's a magically lit up park full of lights, colours, shades and fairies. Well worth seeing.
As it is a great photo opportunity, the meetup will be divided into 2 groups - photo enthusiasts and not so enthusiasts to make sure that people who do not want to take photos don't have to wait for photo amateurs.
There is a small cafe outside where you can buy something to eat and mulled wine after the walk - however if you finish the walk and leave Syon Park you will not be able to re-enter.
Make sure you wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.
It takes about 1 hr just to walk through the park, it took me 3 hrs last year with taking photos.
A note for photography enthusiasts - take your camera, tripod and a remote shutter release. It is not a tuition/workshop based meetup.
We will meet in front of the Syon Park at 5 pm, please buy your tickets in advance (it costs £7), we would like to avoid a very long queue to the box office. The tickets are available at www.quaytickets.com or Syon Park's Visitor Centre.
To get there, take a train from Waterloo to Syon Lane station, it takes about 20 mins to walk from there to the entrance.
There is also the 267 bus which stops at London Road, you can catch it from Twickenam or Gunnersbury station, 10 min walk from the bus stop.
I will be taking care of photographers and Liam will be the leader of non-photographers.
