My name is Shouvik Datta; I was born in London, and grew up in London and Surrey. I teach English as a foreign language, and I have taught in England, Prague, Poland and South Korea.
I like European literature and films (for example Maupassant, and films by Francois Truffaut). So I follow cultural and social trends on the Continent, as well as in England. I enjoyed living and working in two European countries, and I would like to meet more people from the Continent. I also believe in linguistic diversity, and I can speak and read French (just).
I was born in London; I have spent most of my life here. The advantage I find of living in London, is that you can meet people from many different cultures and societies.
I find it a good forum to meet and discuss important issues. Also, could be a good way to share European interests and experiences with others. Would like to meet other members at some point.

Hi! Welcome to Citizens without Borders! We really hope you can join us for our first event in January! The people at this meeting will set the foundations for our goals and upcoming activities. Looking forward to seeing you there - until then, Happy New Year!!
Thanks! I did have a good time. Was lovely to meet you. :)
Great, I will change the date at meetup site.
Hi Shouvik, tickets are sold out for 25th July. Does 4th August works for you?
Shouvik, we have two more people i.e. Shanthi and Malcom. :)
Hi Shouvik, that sounds good. I think you can reserve a place for the 2 of us and let known on the event page what the seat numbers are. Those who want to join can purchase their own tickets. I am not too bothered on the price. So please reserve anything with a good view. Let me know what the price will be I can either transfer the money to your account or pay you on the day. Thanks!!!
Hi Shouvik, if you can set a date between 25 - 27 that will work for me. Also it gives other people who might be interested to join as well. This weekend would probably be soon as most people might have plans. Thanks for organising this - Hina
