Concerned at the current ill informed, knee jerk reactionary mood against the EU. Much of this is stems from the 'democratic defecit'. If the power distance could be reduced then 'the people' would appreciate the benefits that the EU has brought e.g. The Single Market, cheap flights, Brits living in Spain & France, and increased tourism income to the UK.
Alas the streets aren't paved with gold. But it's reassuring that there's always something going on and that you aren't alone in your interests and concerns. I couldn't bear to live in the land of garden centres and DIY.
I've always had a keen interest in how the world works and how the lives of ordinary people are affected by governments & big business. MA (Hon's) Politics, MSc (Management).
