Easter is the ancient celebration of the Spring Solstice - a fertility folk festival. It is about women, fertility, the promise of warmth, light and fresh food. Only for Christians, whose church highjacked it for themselves when it conquered Europe is it about a man on a cross, sacrificed by his father to expiate the sins of humanity.
