It's been great meeting you tonight. As I said in the workshop, I'll be filming the concert of The Pink Singers in the Cadogan Hall in London next next saturday (the 25th at 7pm). I'll be using 6 cameras (I've got 3 so far), so I can edit it as multicam later in Final Cut. Who wants to come film with me?

I'm not getting paid for this, so I can't pay you, but I think that's a good way of meeting people for future projects. And you'll have a great video you can show around with your name on it. Plus you'll get to see this amazing concert for free!

I'm looking for DSLR cameras with a telephoto lens and a tripod. Those of you who want to collaborate, you help will be much appreciated! Please contact me at [masked] and we'll arrange a meeting.

    Thank you so much!

Slight hiccup, misunderstanding, at first but quickly recovered. Promises well.

Unfortunately the speaker wasn't aware of what the meetup was about (or we were not aware that was not a video but a photography workshop). Definitely better communication and detailed explanation of the meetup is needed. Lots of people left after less than an hour, me included. I'm disappointed because I was expecting a lot

It could be more rewarding to learn how to use our cameras for starters before adding in the rest of the equipment and teams.

I never said it was a complete waste of time, the concepts and tips he explained were good and useful, but not wat expected from the description of the meetup.

Despite the tiny confusion about the exact subject matter in the beginning the workshop was very enlightening. The lecturer was knowledgeable, attentive to participants' questions and gave advice warm-heartedly.

I actually enjoyed it - as this seems to be the start of a series of workshops about film-making, it was a good way to introduce us to Abey and pick his brains, without following a specific syllabus. It was a shame that so many people walked out early. I enjoyed the interesting discussions!

Awesome, I really can't wait for this workshop! I have a basic DSLR, not a 5D or similar, but I really want to learn how to use that kind of camera. I've worked with HDVs and with my little 600D but never with a big DSLR! I'm so excited!
