Hi MaurizioThanks for your response. We actually just heard about a fracking thing which is a one-off which we should really be at, so we (Max and I) will need to excuse ourselves from this lunchI'm sorry for the short notice and after your welcomeIf it's ok with everybody, we'll check in on another lunch some timebw to allgrant
Hi Dan and allI was thinking of coming along to your lunch with my son Max - he's also signed up. Max does some programming and game development. I mainly do other digital art stuff. Max is 13. We thought we'd ask how everybody felt about having a fairly young person along plus a non developer - might not work.. Let us know - thanksbwgrant

Actually I think Dan won't be there tomorrow, as he now lives in Brighton, think he forgot himself on 'autojoin' for these events.
Anyway, yes, a 13 years old is somewhat unusual, but this meetup is quite unformal and not very hard core on the 'industry' side, so, I think it will be ok, and possibly interesting, so feel free to come along :)
Why not grab some lunch with fellow developers / designers / artists all interested in Game Development?
Get out of the office, talk about what you're working on (Unless its NDA'ed or breaking contract!) and have a chat with others with similar mindsets.
Bring your laptop along if you'd like to show off what you've made!

Meetup has allowed me to meet people I wouldn't have met naturally - they're totally different than me.
