London Haunts and Horrors is off to Bath in September for a special two-day paranormal conference, which is promising to be the biggest of its type "in a generation"!
ASSAP (Association for Scientific Study of Anomalous Phenomena) is a charity and learned society founded in 1981 to investigate, research and educate on a wide range of anomalous phenomena, from hauntings to UFOs, mediumship to monsters.
The Seriously Strange Conference will take place at Bath University between 7 and 8th September and cover spooky subjects as diverse as Paranormal investigation, UFOs, cryptozoology, skepticism, mediumship, twin telepathy, poltergeists, ghosts, mass hysteria, parapsychology, vampires, hauntings, horror culture, psychology and much more.
(The Event looks like it starts on Friday night but London Haunts and Horrors will be there only on Saturday and Sunday.)
Early bird ticket price is £15 - which you have to book yourself though the website - and onsite accommodation is really cheap (I'm booking my room for £25 for the night - you can do that through the website too).
There will be speakers, workshops, live experiments, shopping, debates, gala dinner, party and disco and training.
Speakers will include:
• Guy Lyon Playfair, the Enfield Poltergeist Investigator• Lembit Opid, UFO commentator and former MP• Prof Chris French, former editor of The Skeptic• Stephen Volk, BAFTA-winning film and TV writer• Sacha Claire Christie, UFO experiencer of note• Richard Freeman, Professional Cryptozoologist• David Farrant, Highgate Vampire Investigator• and many other of the most respected speakers in their paranormal fields
It's going to be a great weekend and a fantastic opportunity to meet new people with similar interests to our group from around the country.
I will give you more details about getting there (it's an easy train journey from London)
Here are the links. We are booking through the ASSAP because they will get us a cheaper rate.

I'm still waiting on information from the organisers, but I am hoping to organise some spooky activities of our own while we are there.
Please contact me if you have any questions.
(I'm charging a £5 RVSP because I am going to organise a few things for us while we are there.)
