OUR GROUP IS FREE & AWESOME!

Every Saturday we meet at 9.30am SHARP in Hyde Park at the Black Lion Gate (just opposite the Hyde Park Hilton Hotel and the Queensway tube station- see map below). The workouts tend to focus on interval training & body weight exercises as opposed to long runs in the park so everyone can work at their own intensity as part of the group, so don't worry about being too unfit, you can do this! No matter your fitness level, we all work hard during the sessions and so everyone sees results.
This is not a holiday, "THIS IS BOOTCAMP!"
We vary each week where we exercise, so if you miss us, it might be hard to find us again. If you do miss us, you're welcome to join us at 11am we go for a breakfast at Wholefoods Market, High Street Kensington, which is the largest Organic Food Store in the country (http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/stores/kensington) to enjoy a lovely and healthy meal or drink to recant our tales of heroism during the session.
We are really privileged and humbled that we have so many regulars who turn up week after week. It's been a wonderful experience to create a family of like-minded people which continues to grow and grow.
We started these Bootcamps in April, 2012 as a way of getting more people in the area interested in running, fitness and personal development. The group has literally exploded beyond our wildest imaginations! We have had people really making big changes in their lives and we have an awesome family feeling during our breakfasts. We have taken over a huge area of Wholefoods for ourselves and can honestly say we have made some great friends doing this. Who would have thought that Saturday mornings would be our favourite time of the week? If you meet someone once, you’re more than likely to meet them again and we love that members are meeting up during the week as well.
The run is hosted by experienced Coaches David and Thomas who are fantastic runners, backed up by Siva as Chief Assistant Coach. David is the ultimate all round athlete and although he stopped playing professional Rugby some years ago, continues to dedicate every day to his mission of being the fittest person on the planet. He ran the Royal Parks Half Marathon in 1 hour 20 minutes (whilst he had a cold), has been a kick boxing champion and has bench pressed 210kg. Thomas is a born runner, his 10K time is 35 minutes and he came 32nd out of about 12,500 people at the Royal Parks Half. He has expanded his horizons to encompass other sports. He can row 2K in 7 minutes, swim 1km in less than 20 minutes and bench press over 100kg. Siva joined the group in May 2012 and had not done any exercise for years before that. Since training with David and Thomas he has seen massive changes, he has gone from a 5k time in 35 minutes to running it in 21 minutes and a 10K time of 45 minutes. Oh, and he lost over 15kg. In 4 months. If it is possible for him, it’s possible for you too!
THE CLASS ITSELF IS FREE OF CHARGE!
NB: David has kindly allowed us to use his car. Given we do this every week, twice a week; he would run up a parking bill of £700 a year! If you'd like to leave your bags, feel free to do so, and we'd appreciate a donation towards the parking of 40p. Belongings are left at your own risk.
