Hi all,

The Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) are hosting a series of courses in March covering how GIS, GPS and Remote Sensing may be used in a field research project. We would love to see some of ICT4D group there!

Friday 15 March – Field GIS Introduction Day – Look at the principles behind outdoor GIS applications, take part in practical demos in GIS equipment, GPS and GIS software.

Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 March – Project Planning Weekend - Those with a field project in mind can continue training over the weekend, developing effective project plans and practical fieldwork skills.

Get in touch if you would like to find out more or have a look at www.rgs.org/GOSeminars.

Many thanks

Amy
