London Game Space Presents MUL-3-CLASH

We did one and it was AWESOME. We did another and that to was AWESOME. The time of the third has come and it shall be AWESOME ONCE AGAIN.

For those who missed the previous bouts of awesomeness, the idea behind MULTICLASH is very simple. London Indies devs make great multiplayer games and we want to show them off.

On Monday 19th of May, come down to Scenario Bar in Dalston to hand your mates arses to them in awesome indie multiplayer games. If you have a game you want to show, contact @DanMurdochMusic or @LondonGameSpace and we'll get you set up for the night.

Bring your A games! ;)

Thank you for this meetup which was awesome!
I took some time to update the spreadsheet about the games presented: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Jcdht8NG3y5lAYw7QmDwJPFuh0DxcUq9ebXrmFlP8vo/edit?usp=sharing

I also took some pictures of the event (mainly pictures from the games) and uploaded them to my Tumblr. http://slipator.tumblr.com/post/86891659491/games-from-the-london-multiclash-3

    Cheers!

Hi Guys, had a great time last night, great to meet some tops devs as well! Would still love to connect with anybody who is working on an Android project over a pint. If you fancy sharing your experiences then drop me a mail to [masked] and we will get that arranged.

    Best

    Nick

Hi, I would be pleased to present my Micro Machines tribute game (http://machines.gouchon.com), as I want to test it with 8 players on one screen :)

@Daniel Murdoch: Should people showing off games maybe come a little early to set up stuff, or doesn't it make much of a difference? Cheers

I tend to say 6 o'clock. Was gonna do a msg round this evening. If exhibitors can be there as close to 6pm as possible giving time to set the space out before punters start to arrive 7pm.

I wonder if it's worth doing a "london indies games bundle" with some of these games? Might even be a way to get more of them onto consoles, similar to what Sportsfriends have done?

    3 · May 7, 2014

    • Fausto F.

Yes.. that's a good point. But there are other issues. How do you make sure every game in there has quality? Are you going to assume the share is equal to everyone? Some games might have had a lot more work than others in them. Could there be a good fair system? Maybe by having an audience of testers before that would rate the games about quality and that would define the shared revenue of each one?

    • James C.

I think you'd have to let the developers decide themselves who they wanted to be bundled with. Say "find 3 or 4 other games/devs you'd be happy to bundle up with, and let's make it happen"

      May 14, 2014

  • Richard H.

    Hi James,

I started building a platform for indies helping indie/small charities in the UK.

So that would fit in brilliantly.

The only problem is I need a Web designer / PHP developer who can make the site look better and fully operational. So if you like to be involved and you know some people as well please let me know.

    Cheers!
