We play small press games of imagination

What we do looks like this!

How it works: Come along for 12:00pm and meet folk. We then head to the Lounge Bar and pitching starts. Everyone who is going to run something fills in a form about their game, saying what it is they will run, up to how many players can be accommodated, and what the game is about.

It might be GM led or it might be more of a story game with the expectation that everyone contribute equally. When this is complete everyone says what it is they want to play with this exception:

If you're new to the meet you get to choose first in what you play.

At 12:30 your group grabs a table and starts playing! The slot finishes around 4:30pm This process repeats at 5:00pm for the second slot.

Thanks to Rob for running Blood & Honor in the morning slot! Really enjoyed it, and love the mechanics. Thanks to Pete, Steven, Mick, and Lee for bringing the awesome to Dogs in the evening slot!

If your searching for blood and honour make sure you add "rpg" to the search terms, (check the Wikipedia entry for blood and honour if you want to find out why!)

Thanks for a great, and very welcoming, day. As a first time attendee I had a great time and really enjoyed both The Coyotes of Chicago and Psi-Run.

I had an awesome time if I do say so myself. Ghostlines totally works and would be great for a longer campaign. Thanks to everyone who jumped in to battle the supernatural. BxB was a blast as well, one the best short one shot games I've played in a while, and my hat is off to Loyd for playing the new boy in school Shogo (he eventually stopped crying and really brought it)

Thanks for a great meetup guys, next month: Dungeonworld!

I'll be coming along with my wife on Saturday 16th March. I'm a n00b to the event. I'm hoping to meet-up with Pete, who will hopefully be there and up for running a game (or two) of Mouse Guard. I arranged to play my first game of it at the recent Dragonmeet and Pete was very obliging.

      Hi Mark,

The games on offer vary month to month depending on who comes down and what they bring with them, so we'll never know for sure what's available until we kick off. Mouse Guard has been played a few times, but Pete did run it twice at Concrete Cow last Saturday so if he does come down he may well be weaselled out.

But Indiemeet is all about playing different games. I've been to 12 meets, playing 24 sessions, and I only repeated a game for the first time last month! If Mouse Guard isn't on the cards, then let me know what kind of game you're looking for and we can advise what will be the best fit. And - as one of the newcomers - you guys get to pick first which of the games pitched you'd like to play.

Hi. Thaks for the welcome. My only reason for coming was to play Mouse Guard. Based on what you've said, it sounds like it's unlikely to get played so I'll give today's meetup a miss. Maybe I'll try again next time. I want to become familiar enough with MG to be able to run it before I think about moving on to other games.

I was running early for once but I got on the wrong train and appear to be going to Brighton. Hopefully this train will stop soon and I'll be able to get back to London Bridge at some point. D'oh. Sorry.

Great time last month as a newbie. Thanks to Simon for a great introduction via Fiasco.

By the way, if no one knows about James Wallis' (the godfather of indie-game design) awesome Alas Vega Kickstarter it ends today and I'll be pitching it when it's delivered in the summer. Link here

I probably won't be able to make it to this one, alas, though if my plans change I'll try and drop in.

Hi all, We've started a thread on our UKRPG forum (which is where most of our regulars post) where people can offer games they want to run and games they'd like to play:

If you've got stuff you want to bring along or you've heard of particular games you really want to try and post in that thread - or here on this meetup - and let us know.
