We play small press games of imagination (for the most past)

What we do looks like this!

How it works: Come along for 12:00pm and meet folk down in the Wharfside Cellar Bar (downstairs at the Hornimans at Hays Galleria, near London Bridge). Around 12:20 the pitching starts. Everyone who is going to run a game says what they will run, up to how many players can be accommodated, and what the game is about.

It might be GM led or it might be more of a story game with the expectation that everyone contribute equally. When this is complete everyone says what it is they want to play: and hey, if it's your first time here you you get to choose first in what you play.

At 12:30 your group grabs a table and starts playing! The slot finishes around 4:30pm This process repeats at 5:00pm for the second slot.

Played Microscope. Very enjoyable. We generated more drama and campaign-changing events in three and a bit hours than most campaigns manage in a year!

Had a brilliant time with Intrepid, seeing the stories come together in surprising ways. Once Intrepid is printed what's the best way to get hold of it? Just to buy it at the meetup? Is there also an electronic version?

Had another fantastic time...played Heroine and Witch...both of which had some really excellent characters and imagination and emotion. Witch in particular got really intense, and Heroine had one of the most richly imagined worlds and some of the most quirky and well-realised characters i've ever experienced.

The hornimans bar is on the riverside, come straight through the Gallery and turn right, it's near the HMS Belfast. I'm there now!

I don't know what PR is. There are three levels to the Hornimans. The mezzanine at the top, the main bar level where everyone walks in and the cellar bar downstairs at the bottom. We are in the cellar bar.

I probably won't make 12 as the missus is down and we're going to an exhibition at the British museum. Hopefully will make the second session, or failing that at least pop in for a drink.

Sounds fun! I'm new to Indie RPGs, so I don't feel confident to run a game yet. But if anyone would like to run/facilitate, I'd love to have a go at one of Archipelago, Ghost/Echo, Danger Patrol, Microscope, The Quiet Year, Kingdoms.

Hi Martin. Joe Mcdaldno, who designed the Quiet Year will be with us. I'm sure if you asked him nicely... Also, if you are new to Indie RPGs do a bit of playing before running stuff. However, I always love it when new people step up and start running games.

Hey guys, I want this special birthday meetup to be a legendary feast of gaming.

so.. if you haven't run before, or have been thinking of bringing down a game to play. This would be a great meetup to pull out all the stops and take the plunge of facilitating a game.

Remember, if its your first time running, will do everything in our power to make your game run!
