Indiemeet Extrameet 'Longmeet' - A day of 'double session' games
We're running this extra themed indiemeet to play one-shot games that work better in longer sessions than the regular 3-4 hour slots at indiemeet and cons.

Many games can fit inside a regular session, but to really 'sing' then need a little bit longer. This is especially true of one-shot games that require world-building or setting / character creation. We'll gather in the side room to the left of the main bar of the Blacksmith & Toffeemaker from 12:00pm and get started from 12:15pm. We have both rooms up until 7pm and will run one single slot. Bring a game you want to play, pitch it and then stretch back and relax into it!

If you're RSVPing yes, then please do post a comment about what you're bringing or what game you'd like to have pitched. No guarantees, but making a request improves the odds!

Some examples (garnered from those suggested by members when I originally posted about the idea) just to get the ideas flowing:
- Always/Never/Now
- Archipelago
- Apocalypse World (and the many Powered by the Apocalypse games)
- Dogs in the Vineyard
- Grey Ranks
- Kingdom
- Legends Walk
- Microscope
- Montsegur 1244
- My Life with Master
- Perfect Unrevised
- Witch

I'll offer the first playtest of my new game (yes, another one!), All That Glitters, about re-building a collapsed former perfect society.

I'd love to play a long session of Lady Blackbird, where we get to explore the various planets a bit more.

The day's freed up for me: great news.

Looks like you'll have more than enough pitches but I can always wade in if needed.

I am extremely excited by the idea and I am thinking about pitching one of the real world Kingdom playsets. I'd be very interested in playing Apocalypse World or Saga of the Icelanders.

Sagas of the Icelanders has a lot of appeal for me. Played a game of it back in January and covered a lot of ground, but would love to see more scope.

I think this will be the time that I _finally_ get to give Primetime Adventures a go.

Not to be confused with longpig - that would be a very different meetup! :)

(The Buffy fan in my wishes it was called Doublemeet)

Could i suggest Heroine as well? I only played it once, but it could've massively benefited from more time as the world potentially had so much detail and richness, and we barely got to go into it. I do understand that this could be an issue for quite a lot of games, but just a thought.

I think that pretty much anything could benefit from a longer session, although there are some games which I think I'd personally struggle with after a couple of hours!

That's a nice idea. A long way out, but at least summer is coming.
