This Extrameet we'll be breaking games down and designing them from the ground up. In the first session people will pitch a game or a design element inspired by the theme 'Into the Woods.' People decide which pitch excites them most and then collaboratively work on brainstorming and designing a game in that session. In the second session, we'll pitch those games and playtest them.
Afterwards, we can sit round and chat about what worked, what didn't, what could be tweaked, and just generally discuss how we're approaching our games.
Ultimately, this is about experimenting and changing our perspectives on how we interact with games. If we design any games that we're really happy with, then we'll lay them out and put them on Indiemeet's Facebook page as a free download.
