London Indie RPG Meetup

How it works: Come along for 12:00pm and meet folk. At 12:20 GM touting starts. Everyone who is going to run something says what it is they will run, up to how many players can be accommodated and what the game is about.

It might be GM led or it might be more of a story game with the expectation that everyone contribute equally. When this is complete everyone says what it is they want to play. If there's more of us we'll use sign up sheet and if there are fewer then it's easy to sort out.

At 12:30 your group grabs a table and starts playing! The slot finishes around 4:30pm This process repeats at 5:00pm for the second slot.

It was just awesome! I get there and as soon as someone realise I was new introduce me to the group and when time to choose game came they let the new people choose first, everybody was very friendly and I really enjoy both games I played.

I'm giving this my usual 5 stars, because, quite frankly, everyone at the London Indie RPG meetup rocks. Which means the games rock. And verily, the games yesterday did rocketh. Cheers to Andy for running a hilarious session of Dead of Night (which played out like Spinal Tap crossed with a slasher film). Massive props to Piers, Selby, Lloyd, and Gabriel for bringing the (surreal) awesome to the session of Lacuna I ran in the evening.

Another excellent day of gaming. Thank you to those who played and died in 'Blood Larvae' Dead of Night. I also had a great game of Poisoned.

Hope to see you again next month.

Every time I sit down to write that game, I get distracted by something shiny. If its written and awesome, I'll bring it down.
