Our Second Birthday/WYWF pre-release

This month sees two milestones: Indiemeet celebrates its second birthday. Tea and cakes will be on hand at around 4pm, sandwiched between two sessions of, in all likelihood, pretty good gaming.

Also we will be having an exclusive pre-release do for Ashley Griffiths' new game, "What You Wish For." This is a beautiful little RPG for 3 players about the choices everday people make in their lives. It's poignant and moving. Ash will also be doing a charity raffle. Come along and win some cool* prizes (*: as cool as RPGing can get).

How it works: Come along for 12:00pm and meet folk. At 12:20 GM touting starts. Everyone who is going to run something says what it is they will run, up to how many players can be accommodated and what the game is about.

It might be GM led or it might be more of a story game with the expectation that everyone contribute equally. When this is complete everyone says what it is they want to play. If there's more of us we'll use sign up sheet and if there are fewer then it's easy to sort out.

At 12:30 your group grabs a table and starts playing! The slot finishes around 4:30pm This process repeats at 5:00pm for the second slot.

Piers is right Fernando - I went on my own and was rather uncertain. Probably not unlike yourself. When I arrived I met a really friendly and welcoming group of people. The "old hands" are very patient and open, and you will very quickly feel comfortable and at home - I highly recommend giving it a try!

Don't worry Fernando. We're totally n00b friendly and you will get first choice as to what you want to play. Players and game facilitators are helpful and cos it's our birthday we'll be having cake!
