'Ten Plagues, A Song Cycle' is performed by Marc Almond after great success at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August.
Based on eye-witness accounts of the 1665 London Plague, Ten Plagues depicts an incredible journey through London in the midst of the most deadly Plague imaginable. A one-man solo sung performance by Marc Almond, Ten Plagues brings together the worlds of music, theatre and opera in a deeply moving and profoundly relevant piece of theatre. This collaboration between playwright Mark Ravenhill and composer Conor Mitchell, previewed as a work-in-progress as part of the Royal Court's Rough Cuts 2010 season. Please purchase your tickets beforehand, I have purchased mine in row D, they range from £12.50 to £25.00 www.wiltons.org.uk The theatre is a hidden gem in London and well worth a visit if you haven't been before.
