The Belgravia walk

Ian Fleming (James Bond) and Edgar Alan Poe lived here. Mozart performed here. Also Christopher Lee, William Walton, Michael Caine etc. We start near Victoria station and end up near Sloane Square station. We will leave The Plumbers Arms at 7.45.

Very well done. I missed the start as I was late, but thankfully the group tends to circle round the meeting point for a while to give latecomers a chance to catch up. Stephen is an excellent guide, friendly and sets a good pace and very happy to chat and let people add things or ask questions. Nice drink in the pub afterwards. Great stuff.

As usual Stephen told us some very interesting facts about an area of London unkown to all of us on the walk.

Very interesting walk and talk, the rain held off and the sun was out. Can't get better than that.

I only hope that our walk will not change into a pub crawl...(because of the weather):)))))))

Hi Stephen, great walk and I'd like to come but won't decide until later. What's distance / pace of this walk please? Thanks.

Hi Stephen, I too will make a late decision based on the weather. What time will the walk end?

I might make a last minute decision on whether to attend depending on the state of the weather...

Weather forecast is poor, but we might get away with it. There are a total of 3 good pubs, so we might spend more time indoors than out.

From Victoria Station go to the gardens with the statue of Foch on Buckingham Palace Road. Turn left and walk to the junction with the pub "The Victoria". Turn right onto Lower Balgrave Street. Continue till you cross over Ebury Street. The Plumbers Arms is on your right. If you don't see me downstairs, try the upstairs room. I'll be there from 7.15 to 7.45 in a purple shirt. Lost souls can phone me on[masked]
