Play & Reflect on Knowing Your Team & Feedback

Let's come together and discuss the challenges of getting to know your team members, building trust, and developing your team by providing feedback.

We will start with a 5 mins presentation containing thought-provoking questions and real-life challenges on the topic. ***Please feel free to submit your stories and ideas in advance in the meetup comments, so we can also include them!***

Then, we will move on to play two management work-outs:
Personal Maps

Bring your real-life stories and challenges to the meetup, ready to discuss & share, so that we can all learn from each other!
Looking forward to meeting you.

Thank you so much for the great exchange of ideas tonight, with a lot of sharing and practical insights on the suggested topics! Thanks Ryan for the co-facilitation & preparations leading up to tonight's event.
For those of you, who could not make it, thanks for letting us know and you are welcome next time!

Tonight's participants agreed to share some recommendations on further reading, blogs, authors, etc. that came up on the discussed topics, so that we can all continue off-line. We can use the discussion tab and add our thoughts here:
Please, all members, feel free to contribute.

After a good night's sleep, I will come back to you on the plans for our next meetup.

Glad to welcome new members and Ryan as a co-facilitator for our meetup. Ryan is an Agile manager himself and he has a wealth of experience coaching as an Agile Coach & Life Coach. Looking forward to our discussions on 12th Feb evening!

Thank you All for joining, if you are interested in modern management methods, welcome to join for our very first meetup, which will be two interesting games followed by an open discussion/reflection.

If you are a manager yourself, this group is for you, however ideas can be useful for team leaders, Agile coaches, technical architects, developers, product managers or other business managers as well. Management in modern companies is no longer the sole task of managers!

    + Update on the venue:
I am still looking for a good, free venue for our first meetup, for up to 25 people.
    Any suggestions are welcome!

Warm welcome to all interested fellow managers and colleagues! Please share your own story/questions/thoughts on giving feedback to your colleagues, or getting to know each other at work (i.e. think distributed teams!). Stories can come both from an Agile or non-Agile environment!
