London MongoDB User Group 2012 Meetup #2

This is the second meetup of 2012.

Main talk

With over a billion queries a day, on over a billion objects and with a latency averaging under 1ms, Pierre Dane from Struq will talk about their experiences of using MongoDB to store over 1TB of data.

How I use MongoDB

Similar to Lightning Talks (in length) but a little more "prepared", these are members telling the group how they're using MongoDB and any problems/tricks they learnt. Marketing folks might call them case studies (but without the stock photos). Let us know if you want to present something!

  1. James Summerfield. Deploying MongoDB onto EC2 - tips and tricks, EBS and multiple availability zones.

Lightning talks

  1. Peter Ledbrook, VMWare. CloudFoundry and MongoDB
  2. Justin Holmes, Incipit the Scala/Java Platform as Service

Want to give a quick shout out about your MongoDB project or talk for a few minutes about something you learnt using MongoDB? That's a lightning talk. Let us know if you want to present something!
