This is the second meetup of 2012.
With over a billion queries a day, on over a billion objects and with a latency averaging under 1ms, Pierre Dane from Struq will talk about their experiences of using MongoDB to store over 1TB of data.
How I use MongoDB
Similar to Lightning Talks (in length) but a little more "prepared", these are members telling the group how they're using MongoDB and any problems/tricks they learnt. Marketing folks might call them case studies (but without the stock photos). Let us know if you want to present something!
- James Summerfield. Deploying MongoDB onto EC2 - tips and tricks, EBS and multiple availability zones.
- Peter Ledbrook, VMWare. CloudFoundry and MongoDB
- Justin Holmes, Incipit the Scala/Java Platform as Service
Want to give a quick shout out about your MongoDB project or talk for a few minutes about something you learnt using MongoDB? That's a lightning talk. Let us know if you want to present something!
