Running on the same day as our monthly Permaculture Picturehouse, we have an exciting daytime event too - double bill!
There is an option to go on a foraged walk guided walk during the day by Robin Harford, from Eat weeds (check out his great website www.eatweeds.co.uk). The guided walk venue is unconfirmed, but possibly Abney Park Cemetery in Stoke Newington, or possibly Hackney Marshes.
As I've spotted and been picking this week, there are lots of dead-mans nettle popping up (my favourite, just lightly steamed then drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper); Elderberries - fantastic for making up syrups oozing with Vit-C to see you through the winter; Hawthorn - these you can make a plethera of items too.
There is a limit of 25 people on the foraging walk, so let me know if you want a ticket and we are hoping to set up an Event Brite event for this for people to pre-purchase. The walk will start at 3pm and last 2-2.5 hours, for £15 (which includes entry to the Picture house in the evening).
Work prevailing I may make the foraging daytime walk, failing that I will be there in the evening.
