The best way to learn about your own equipment is in the field. Photo walks avoids techno jargon and in depth camera speak, just plain explanations and practical exercises (whilst taking iconic shots of London).
In that time he has been able to maximise the experience and hone his teaching skills to ensure that each member of the group really understands the functions of their camera equipment and will go on to take images to be really proud of.
The London Photographic Society Photography Team
We are a small group of passionated photographers amateurs and professional, stylists, scenographers and more. Our aim is to create amazing images to inspire others and encourage them following our steps in the photographic creative process. We have passion and motivation!
Our leader is Luca Monti - The London Photo School Founder & Coordinator - Luca is a well known professional photographer with hobbies in flying, sailing and exploration trip in the most far away places of the planet. He coordinates the learning and community aspects at the Photo School in addition to running events himself and assisting at the monthly workshops.
Luca enjoys Alternative Process Prints and Street Photography, his favourite photographer is William Klein. Luca is interested in aesthetic and theory of photography.
He written and shooter 13 books and many more portfolio.
London Photographic Society is a new way to savour the sights of London.
Our main goal, our dream is to open the door of the most secret place of London, to offer to our member a unique point of view. Power Stations, Shelters, Secret Tube Lines, Penthouse, Roof, terrace, factory buildings and much more they are our targets !
London Street Photography (photographic walking tours) is a relaxing, leisurely, educational tour experience that will tutor all abilities with digital cameras to professional SLR's.
The excursions will take us past classic viewpoints including St Paul's Cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Westminster, Trafalgar Square, Waterloo Bridge, with breath taking views across the River Thames including Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.
It is more than just a walking tour, it will allow you to see the best views of this historic city, help you to understand your camera equipment at all levels of proficiency, show you how to use your camera creatively and ensure that you have some classic photographs to bring back home.
Create your own picture by taking creative, quality photographs, gain a greater understanding of your equipment and best of all have fun.
The experience never finishes when the tour ends.
